The Dow Red Stick Rumble
is the largest offseason FIRST® Robotics Competition event in the state of Louisiana.
It was founded in 2012 to provide FRC teams with another chance to compete in the previous year’s challenge.
It is always free and open to the public and helps to fund Denham Springs High School’s Robotics Program.
Did you know?
Denham Venom’s introduction to the FIRST Robotics program competition was hosting an off-season FIRST Robotics Competition.
Denham Venom took over the Dow RSR from FIRST Team 3337, Panthrobotics, from Woodlawn High School when they retired in 2018.
It’s not just the big bots.
The Dow Red Stick Rumble has played host to FIRST Tech Challenge scrimmages, FIRST Lego League fast-starts, a training field for future FIRST Volunteers. . .
This event is about inspiring people of all ages and providing the Greater Baton Rouge Area with a reason to support STEM learning all throughout our community.
